Hey, I was just wondering if I own COD 2, but I can't find one of the install disks, is there a way to download it via steam and put in the serial that I already have...

I really doubt it, COD isn't made by Steam, It's made by Activision so you can't download it off steam.

I know, but steam sells it so, I was thinking maybe you could activate it. Look at the games both of the COD's are for sale on steam.

No, steam uses a seperate activation process than the boxed version.

I actually contacted Steam about trying to use my CoD2 CD Key on their system.

They said that you can not use your retail CD Key on Steam, and they never will allow it. So unfortunetly you cant activate CoD on Steam.
