lol na i wanna try nd fix it my self.. but unsure if it is possible i mean if you can send it off for repares i sould be able to do it myself
 
Ive repaired three xboxs m8 with the rrod m8, replacing the x-clamps is quite easy, there are a few guides on youtube on how to do it and what you need, ive normally thrown the xclamps away and secured the heatsinks back with bolts and washers and never had any probs

Put a towl over the back of it where the air vents are the static from the towel will withtract the dust which is causing it to overheat do this for around 10 minutes there is a guide somewhere ill see if i can find it ..
 
The towel trick is only a temporary fix, and the rrod is not norm caused by dust in the machine, its caused by the x clamps expanding due to the heat of the machine and not seating the heatsinks properly and by poor quality soldering on both chips,
