Canon A40 won't connect

Hi,

I have just got a new PC, and I am currently trying to install my Canon A40 to the xp SP2 OS. I am running into problems, where is displays an error message to the effect of:

'Another Instance of the driver is in the Memory. Please restart'. I do that and nothing happens.

In device manager there is a Yellow exclamation mark under Imaging Devices.

Any help would be most appreciated!

erm i have the same camera, it works fine on sp2 - i think you have damaged device drivers. what you should do is to right click on the device, uninstall it, and rescan for hardware changes or restart.
