cant access my hotmail via my nintendo 3DS

hello,

i have since 1st x-mas day (25 december 2011) a nintendo 3DS.
but the one thing i cant access via that internet browser is my Hotmail.
when i type in "URL", hotmail.com, it will view the PC site, it can load my Inbox but i cant read my e-mail (still empty part in the reading window (beside the list with received e-mail)) but when i try to use the mobile version of Hotmail it says the following: Your browser dont supports HTTPS. while there a lock-symbole on the edge of the topscreen.

why is this? with my nintendo DSi i can only there access my Hotmail (the mobile version)
but why not on nintendo 3DS?

I'm no expert on Nintendo just for the record.

Is there no native email client that is preinstalled/you could download for the 3DS?
