Can't tell if this is what I need

If you have a free 4-pin, the first one will work. If you don't have any 4-pin left, get the second one as it changes SATA power to 4-pin.

I say 4-pin because Molex is a brand.

So I accidently got the wrong one, but the packaging is confusing. I got the Rosewill one that I posted, and on the bag for it, it says "Molex 4 pin male to 2 SATA 15pin female," but the molex 4 pin is female... I actually need a 4-pin male to SATA 15pin male, which there doesn't seem to be one in existence. I'll just have to get a 4-pin extender and use the extra 4-pin on the bottom. I just didn't want to move my HDD up and DVD drive down to get it to work.

BUT I talked to newegg and they're giving me a credit for it, and I don't even need to ship it back! I love them so much.

Okay let's clarify this - what interface is your CD drive; SATA or IDE?

So you either want a 4-pin Molex male to splitting molex female, or a 15-pin SATA male to 4-pin molex female.

Well, no, I would need a 15-pin SATA Male to 4-pin Molex male, because the molex on the dvd drive is female.

....can't say I've ever seen a female CD drive....but yes, Strangehold's link will work.
