CoD Black Ops... anyone know anything about this game?

Hi everyone

I was going to pick this game up on PS3 or Xbox but now that I just got a new motherboard I think Ill get it on the PC. I just saw on steam that is 60 dollars on the PC... I was wondering this year if they have dedicated servers... or if its the same as it was last year which was P2P. I never played MW2 on the PC last year, but I had it on the PS3 but the online multiplayer sucked... laggy and I just liked MW1 better so I got battlefield... Are there going to be classes in this version?

What version should I get... which is inferier? I have a decent computer so I know ill be able to run the game

They have dedicated servers but only hosted by GameServers or someone similar. I really want to say get it on PC, but I don't know.

I'm not one for COD so I probably won't even be buying it.

i wish i could find an earlier review... I thought about metal of honor, it got garbage reviews tho
 
PC will always beat consoles in performance/graphics. Your choice really...I don't really see much promise in the game myself.
Its just looks like a reskin with a few things added again. The COD series has become stale/boring to me. If they had maps more like BF2 it would be more enjoyable to play.

Yeah it is pretty horrible too. I borrowed from a buddy before my buddy sold on Ebay. Jerky/Lackluster gameplay for the low price of $59.99. Price of games is becoming so retarded that I don't even look at them till $39.99 or so.

The one thing I hated the most is once you beat the SP there is nothing to do to but go online. There are no "survival" or "sneak" type gameplay mods or anything. So since I hate online it is really not worth $20 to me :P

I love battlefield, I havent played it in two months... did they ever add any maps to BC2?

Nope,Theres DLC content comming out soon though i think,And of course "Vietnam".

as for Black Ops,ive not heard or read anything intresting about it lately,i will buy it though because i have enjoyed all the COD series. :)
 
gamespot did a multiplayer sneak peak. i watched it yesterday and there differences. create a class now uses currency instead of unlocking items as you level up. and of course, the new wager matches.

actually looks pretty badass. I havent played battlefield since september, it runs shittier then it used to ... my screen blinks black... Pretty sure its not my PC, all my other games run fine... framerate is fine... .temps are fine... must of been an update or something... anyone know about this?

Any word on the Recommended specs for Black Ops?

EDIT: By BF2, do you mean Battlefield 2: MC or Bad Company 2?

There is on my game i can play Tier 1 on any of the missions and they give you a time to beat which i think is ok.:)
