.com file extension question

i recieved an im from an unknown sender containing the hyperlink
http://myimgs.idleplay.net/indx.php
clicking it asks me about saving a file the the extension ".com" and says its an msdos application. the website myimgs.net is a picture hosting site, so i dont know if i just dont have the correct program or its something else
give me some idea what to do, thanks

Ya, probaly one of those automatic IMing viruses. When the person is on, it can send a spammed website, which is just more of the virus gettin out....if you click on it.

Actualy it is one of those Automatic IM viruses, In the last week i have seen three of them come about. One day I got baord and wanted to see if it would take over on my computer because I use Gaim and not just aim, but AVG found it before i had a chance to see if it would steal GAim from me.
