Comcast Cable Internet

Like I said in my other post, I am moving out of my parents house. I am getting Comcast Cable Internet and have a question or two.

1) For those with Comcast cable internet, how do you guys like it? pros/cons?

2) Right now, we have DSL at my parents house and I have a router hooked up to my computer that allows my girlfriends laptop to hook in and use our DSL. All we do is plug a ethernet cord into the router and plug it into her laptop. Now having Cable Internet, can you do the same thing? use a router and hook up addition computers to it?

I love it, it blows away DSL, and is much faster, I can download a 700 Mb linux CD in about 30 minutes, great service, always up, fast and reliable, I couldn't live without it. Again, as a comparison to DSL, my friend has DSL, and whenever he uses my Comcast, he's amazed at how fast my connection just keeps pumping.
 
Ya I don't have comcast cable internet but I have cable internet through cox communications, its nice and fast. And yes you can plug a ethernet cable into the router just like dsl.
 
All you need to do is switch the connection type from the Pppoe to the dhcp or automatic configuration. And maybe clone the originals PC's mac address.
