I'm saving up for a new PC, and I was wondering, which is better for the price? The E6600 I found was for $308 (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16819115003) and the E5310 I found was for $352 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117112). But from what I've heard, Intel's "Quad Core" isn't really quad core because it's really just two Core 2 Duo's in the size of one. So should I spend the extra $50 and go quad-core or stick with the good dual-core? Is there any disadvantage to quad core over Core 2 Duo? Or should I wait for AMD's quad core, which will be an actual quad core (by the way, when does it come out, and how much will it cost)?
