crysis 2 save issues

does anyone know how to get crysis 2 to keep and load saves games with the 1.9 patch and dx11 high res pack installed? i have researched alot on this issue and there seems to be no answer other than the developers have left the consumer with no solution or support
 
Just throw the game in the bin, I curse the day I preordered this game.

But seriously, if it's on steam, try verifying the files and reinstalling it if it's on disc.
 
its not through steam. i have reinstalled and it made no difference. its fine up to the 1.8 patch, but as soon as i put the 1.9 on, it stops loading the saved game. it will hang at the load screen forever. i have to quit the game, and can only play it if i start a new game.
