crysis beta update!!

Hey all , I just wanted to let all the gamers on the forum know the CRYSIS BETA IS NOW OPEN TO ALL FILEPLANET USERS. hmm I paid for a subscription two weeks ago because I could not wait this long, anyways turn your cpu's cooling fan to max and enjoy ;)
 
Anyone actually get to play it yet? I started DLing it last night, but comcast died at like 3 am and it froze up. I'm just now restarting it this morning and won't get to play until after school. =[
 
Yeah, I think it locked up again before I ran out the door to school, but I'm not home yet, so I don't know if it's down, or still sitting at 3%... I really don't wanna wait in queue for another 40 minutes. =[ Anyone know yet what's included in the beta? Is it just online, or just offline, or just the first few parts of something or something?
 
I finally got it installed and it looks pretty good, I have it maxed out on XP (which can only go to "high", not "very high"), so I'll install it on Vista and see if I can enable it there. Here are a few screenshots under XP:

I get around 20-30FPS.
 
It will look a lot better when released. The BETA version doesnt let you select "very high", only "high", so the graphics itself will look better when officially released. Not to mention the BETA is only DX9, so we need to wait and see what the DX10 version will look like.
 
I hope so.

My current settings are 1360x768, 8x AA, High settings all around.
