Ok, I just went into a few computer places here in town and came out with a gaming PC that might fit me.
Here is the specs.

AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Computer System

Gigabyte K8NS Socket 754 Motherboard with onboard sound & LAN
17" CM16 ATX Mid Tower Case with 400W P/S and front USB
AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Processor (64bit & 32bit software compatible)
Samsung 160GB 7200 rpm ATA-133 8MB cache Hard Drive
1024MB PC3200 OCZ Premier DDR Memory (2x512MB @ 400Mhz)
Radeon X800Pro 256MB DDR AGP 8X video card
Panasonic 3 1/2' Floppy Drive
LG GSA4160B 16X+/8X- DVD R/RW Drive
Windows XP Home

= C$1829

Is this a reasonable price. Also is this a decent gaming machine?

SOlid machine, a bit on the expensive side though :) (the X800Pro and WXP are prolly the most overcharged there)

Ok, I didn't think it was too bad considering that it is canadian money. Some Compaqs and stuff are like $3200 up here. But maybe it still is. What would you change if you were in my situation? Like what graphic card wold you pick that's around the same quality but cheaper?

Thx
