Deal on the Antec 900

I was browsing J&R Computer World and saw a cheaper price than Newegg, so I thought I'd post it just in case it helps anyone:

According to the "Shipping Info", it's $20.10 to ship... Newegg, however, has free 3 day shipping, and usually has a rebate on the 900. Make sure you check these things. Don't want to go off spending $20 on shipping if you can get it for free.

You can also try out www.pricewatch.com for comparing prices.
However, sometimes certain online store are not listed there for certain items.
Not sure why.

Antec 900 $74. It's where I bought mine. But once again, let me tell you I thought that case sucked!

It's not for the novice user... obviously... and if you want a highly overclockable system with good cooling, you've met your match.

No seriously... Have you ever used or seen one? Cable management is a nightmare in that case... I like my P180...

No seriously... Have you ever used or seen one? Cable management is a nightmare in that case... I like my P180...

I just looked at Antec's website. There's a nice little demo video of the P182. Looks like a good case as well, but I'm not a big fan of having to open and close the door in order to access the drives. I know you can swing it all the way open, but leaving it that way obstructs the left side ventilation.

I also noticed that this case also has the same method of installing a fan as the 900, i.e. you can install the fan, but it takes up two of the internal 3.5" bays so you can't put HDs there.

It's a form that you fill out and you send it to the company along with a copy of the receipt and the UPC/barcode from the box, then they mail you a check for a given amount.

It's just an incentive to buy their product over another. Many people buy the items then forget or dont want to bother with sending in the rebate form.
