DirectX troubles

Hey there,
I've had some troubles with my DirectX lately. Basicly to make it short, i wanted to play World in conflict the other day, but got an error saying that my DirectX was outdated, so i went to Microsoft's website and downloaded the latest version - during the install it said "Installation was aborded - you already have this version!" .. that doesn't fit very well ;s My question is now, can i somehow delete my DirectX and redownload it? (where to find the directX-files to delete, if it's possible?)

Not a very good idea to just go ahead and delete DX files. Try installing DirectX from the World in Conflict Disc (it should be included.) Try patching the game as well.
