For some reason, my audio cracks when I play this game. It doesn't crack at any other time, just during this game! Any idea why?

By the way, I do have latest sound drivers. I recently installed Windows 7 and I took the drivers right from creative.com
 
I could have sworn I posted in this thread already... maybe I closed the tab before it went through. However...

My theory was that perhaps this game produces a sound either higher or lower than any of your other games, and the speakers can't handle it, causing it to crack.
