Do I have enough Ram?

I am wanting to DL the trial version of 3D Studio Max. I heard it was a big Ram hog. I have a Dell 3000..160GB Hard Drive Space Upgrade. That's about it. Can someone look up the specs and help me out? Thanks.

I searched for the program, and the ones i found said at least 128mb ram. I dont know if this is the same thing your talking about, but what would be the harm in downloading the trial and seeing if it works on your comp?

And just go to Start->Run->type: dxdiag, then it will show you how much ram you have.

Depends on the stuff you're doing in MAX, the more the better generally with 1GB being a point of diminishing returns for a lot of people
