Do you have a touch-screen?

I have used one before, didn't really like it that much. As a novelty, yes they are fun and interesting to play around with, but for normal everyday computer usage I find them pointless. I'm sure some people would benefit from using a touch screen. But I have no use for them.
 
touchscreens are most useful for portable devices, for desktop PCs (or even laptops) they are usually slower than just using mouse and KB. Of course, my college algebra teacher has a tablet laptop and uses the touchscreen to write out things that are then projected up on the screen. So I guess it is all in how you are going to use it.
 
I agree I tried them out and didn't really see any day 2 day use for them they were a neat idea though.
 
I have an ipod touch and a Dell Tablet.

I have to say that the touch screen is very useful once you get use to it (which takes a few days). I am much more efficient on a tablet using the touch screen than using a mouse or touchpad.
 
allways thought they would be a bit fidgety the closest thing to anything like that is the massive smart boards they have at school which in fact are pretty cool
 
I like to use vistas voice recognition thingy instead now that's much more efficient! Ounce you remember all the slingos, and your dog is not barking.
 
We have a display of a touchscreen PC at work, it's fun to play with but I haven't really noticed any difference. Fun and a good tool to draw with, but I guess I really haven't had enough experience and need to evaluate it properly...
