DVR to PC

I have a Dish network DVR and would like to transfer my recordings to a external HD or to my laptop. It has a USB on front of DVR. How do I transfer my recordings? THX.

I dont think you can. The onyl ay I have heard of doing it is by using an external dvd deck burner.

Most of the time the USB on DVR's are for diagnostic testing, ask your provider.
