e-mail problem

can receive but cannot send but this has just happened every time trying to send an e-mail a window comes up saying problem has occured try again cannot find the problem any help plz
using windows 7 aspire laptop have nt had this problem before

do you have your POP3 and all that set up? It would be nice for more info like if you are using outlook mail etc etc
 
Call your provider to make sure their outgoing servers are up and running. They can do some troubleshooting as well to make sure your server settings are correct.
 
Do you use web mail or you use pop3 server to send mails? Due to high spam in the mail, some ISP has turn off or change their server port to send out mails. Mine did it. So if you use pop3 to send mail, contact ISP to see if that is the case.
Just a thought.
