I have an old ps2 game that is pal so it won't work on north American ps2. Is there a way that I can download an emulator and make it work in my computer? Sorry if this is against forum rules, if it is feel free to delete.

There is a PlayStation 2 emulator called PCSX2. You can download it here https://pcsx2.net/. You'll need what's called a bios file to get it to work. Other then that setting up is easy. I prefer retroarch for emulation though as it can do many different systems in one and is easy to set up and has a nice user interface. Sadly they have yet to add the ability to emulate ps2 games on retroarch.

I'll check it out, thanks. Hopefully I can map my Xbox controller to work with it.

Glad I could help and yes you should be able to use an Xbox controller with it though I'd use a PS4 controller as it's more similar to a PS2 controller.

I got it to work with my Xbox controller, thanks again. The nostalgic feels. Now to find a way to play goldeneye somehow.
