Enough for 8800GTS and my system?

Its should be fine to run 1 GTS, its output is about 33A. I think ceewi and other recommendations are 26/28a..

the 550vx is pretty cheap too.

the vx series has a real combined rail, not 3 rails like the hx modular

The VX550 is not modular either, it's only the HX series that are modular. All are single rail, despite what's printed on the label.

The VX450 is fine for your system with an 8800GTS. The VX550 is a great PSU as well. What's the price difference?

520w preferably the non ebay one

Why the non Ebay one, he has 99% positive feedback, and he's a "power seller", seems Ok?

I was saying for him, it's pretty cheap and so far I have had no problems and my GPU has more power consumption the a 8800GTS, plus its modular, but not the crappy Molex kind, it's the cool aviation kind

I'll take a look at it, thanks :)

Who would buy from ebay for 5 euro/dollar difference? if the price difference was like 25 or more euros then yea, and anyway kowoski you are forgetting there are things that come from china/taiwan and look in the same way as the originals, they are mostly sold via ebay

Yeah, that is true, Hmmm. Well, I'll wait till Jan/Feb and see what's around and happening then... Thanks for your help!

Sorry to bring back a dead thread, but I didn't want to start a new one...

The HX 520W looks like an excellent PSU, but is there anything cheaper that would do the job, from www.ebuyer.com

Thanks!

E57 is a decent price to my knowledge, I got mine for around $99USD... I would go HX520W, it seems like more of an asset when you buy something that you know will last a while...

Huh? E57, it costs £50 I think...

That's true, I like the modular design too, do you have pictures of it you could take and post up please?
