Free virus software?

Is free virus software worth it? If so, can anyone suggest any good programs and where to find?

i don't use that AVG
the version i "had", has an integrated firewall and cuz of conflicts with my other(s) it blocked my internot completely.
pc-cillin is the one i choose for some people 4 free
