front usb2.0 panel usb not working

the back ports are working i knew is kinda weird seeing how the pins slots are for usb 2 AND usb 3 but theres no usb1 i assume that is assign for the back.

no the board support both usb 1.1 and usb 2. the emty pin slots are for you front ports

do you have any loose wires that come from the front

Plug the connectors for the front USB pins into the spare USB headers on the motherboard ... depending on the case it might be a really messy job (if the header pins are all broken)
