Gaming cases other than the Antec 900?

Are there any other popular, nice looking cases other than the Antec 900? I might end up choosing it anyway, but I at least want to see my other options.

I've seen several other cases that get good reviews and seem nice, but I'm not sure if I need to be looking for something that is specifically for gaming, as if maybe those types of cases provide better cooling, etc. than a normal, mainstream case.

For example, I quite like the Antec SOLO, and I would have chosen this to use for my parents' new computer (didn't get a chance to do it, though), but for my needs I wonder if it isn't enough. The same for the P182.

Thanks.

High: Antec P182, I perfer this than 900

It does seem pretty nice, but I really don't like having a door on the front to open and close each time I want to turn it on. I know it can swing all the way open, but leaving it open seems to block the ventilation shaft on the left.

I really like my thermaltake armor right now. Installing drives, fans, etc have been super easy, and there are tons of space to work on. PROS and CONS are below:

Pros:
- Lots of space for working.
- Lots of cooling
- I think it looks awsome.
- Can install another 120mm front intake fan with 3 hard drive slots so there is room for LOL 9 hard drives.
- There is room for two 120mm front intake fans, and there is 1 120mm exhuast fan, and two 90mm exhuast fans.
- Optional water cooling holes in back of case.
- Can use pretty much every type of motherboard.

Cons:
- tooless PCI slot have to be removed for easier instalation, but very simple and only have to remove 4 screws and can be reinstalled after cards are installed.
- Have to uninstall top fan and cords on top of chasis for PSU install, but cords can be installed after, and top fan can be reinstalled if PSU leaves enough room up top.

i also think thermaltake armor is a nice alternative. it's a similar design to the antec 900. the front has all mesh slots and provides nice cooling. it's similar except the PSU is on top, which is preferred by most people

It does look nice, but it's a full tower. Not sure I want something so enormous.

Ya that is one thing, but if you go with the silver armor, it's very light for a full tower case. If you arent wanting to go full tower I would reccommend the P182. That was my second choice and havent really heard a bad thing about it.

Yeah, I like that one a lot. But I read some of the 1-star reviews on newegg and now I'm worried about it. Granted, there are many more positive reviews, but for some reason I tend to take the negative ones (more) seriously.

Personally I don't think that there is one that hasnt recieved a bad mark every now and then, no case is perfect and have little things wrong.

But for another case I would look at is the NZXT Apollo. That case just looks SWEET!!:D

There's all kinds of cases available these days. Once you decide on the type you browse the vendors that offer a wide selection and once spotting one price shop around a little. http://www.xoxide.com/pccases.html

The 900 was spotted onsale last summer when someone posted the FRYs sale for about $80 over the usual $140 seen at newegg. Later other vendor also announced sales while newegg still saw the high price.

The dea there besides not seeing any Antec models for the moment is simply to see what models are available from other companies. By browsing through various collections you end up with alternatives to just one or two models by one brand.

My personal Favorite Case is the Thermaltake SwordM without the liquid cooling becase the pump sucks. It can also hold up 12 x 120 mm fans.

CONS : $500

if you got money go for it and you will be impressed.

Another great one is the Antec Performance One P190. This case comes with PSU's adding up to 1200W This case is a great upgrade from the P180 with more and bigger fans. As you all know how easy this case is to work with not mention how quiet it is.

CONS : $400 and kind of hard to keep wires in order and out of the way.

A nice cheep way to stay cool, quiet, and user friendly would be the Cool Master RC-690. This covers every area of your concerns.

CONS : I like big cases with potential. This one is too small for me
