GE vs. CF (CS:S)

So I think it's time for a match; I was thinking:

  • 5 vs. 5
  • Friday 20:30 GMT
  • Our server (100-tick in London)
  • 2 de_ maps of your choice (No cs_ maps in matches)
  • 20 rounds each map (10 rounds either side)
  • GE-TV should be running by that point if you want to watch.
 
Well 3 of my team are from the Netherlands and their pings are less than 60 constantly. If tonight I spot one of you U.S. lads I'll bring you onto my server for a test. Otherwise string together some of the Euro lot.
 
Double post I know but I had spanky on my server last night and his ping settled just above 100ms, so the server should be alright.
 
Wow, I've had 5 on a couple of occasions from home and my ping was pretty much constantly 5 at Omega Sektor on the 66 tick server we had.
 
Is this open to anyone on cf who plays css? I would probably play (yep with 100ping, doesnt bother me) if someone sent me a pm. But if some cf brits who are closer want to play, be my guest, I would still love to watch via ge-tv (umm...whats ge tv?).
 
Well it's a mix of 5 CF members, I'll give you the password just before if you PM me. GETV is the SourceTV channel and we're having problems setting it up but watch this space!
 
Game got ruined by AWPs...

I left it was pretty stupid, one shot you die....
 
We had one of the Pro team members (Solus) playing and they can ace whole rounds with AWP's! TBH we need a proper match as last night was a bit disorganized.

Frankly, anyone can ace with an awp, thats why its an awp, and everyone hates the awp...:D, but yes, that was horribly organized and frankly, 2 in the afternoon (my time) wasnt a good idea :P. I would like to play again sometime, have a rematch ya? :)
 
i find it funny, when you get shot your toe of with the awp, you're dead, when you do that with any other weapon you're not. would have thought they'd made the game a bit more realistic.
 
Well the AWP is 3 times more powerful than any other gun in game so yeah. :P

I will get a re-match, I'm re-sorting the team at the mo but I know one is very good with a Scout indeed.
