eli dies at the end of episode 2 i got quite sad because gordon has known eli throughout the series and also when eli has a quite word with gordon alone he thinks of gordon as his son and praises gordon for all his work

also what is the G MAN what does he do

You probably should have put the do not read in the title...
 
there are a bunch of different rumors, my favorite is that he is actually a member of the galactic rebellion against the combine and has taken human form to get Gordan, the only one who could ever fight the combine and win, to be on their side. He is also using the Earth as a battleground though and doesn't care how many humans he kills while the Vourtigants are trying to save both their own race and the humans
