If anyone could help, it would be much appreciated.
Right now i got a really frustrating problem:mad:   .
My computers a hp media center pc m7470n (u can google that or go to future shop for specs) and i got a ati radeon xpress 200 in it, integrated. But, i want to put in my diamond radeon 9200se in it. I disabled the integrated card from hardware manager, and i turned off my comp, put in the card, turned on my comp, then i put in the cd to install the driver for it, i click on instlal driver, it extracts, and starts the install, but then an error message pops up, some 8x800707 thing or something, then i close it. I try it again, except this time while its extracting, thers red letters saying, cannot create setup.exe, the process cannot access the file beause another things using it. but thers nothing using it. Ive been looking at this thing for hours, about 5 hours now, ive never had a problem with instlaling this card on my old shitty computer, ive tried uninstalling the ati control panel also with disabling the xpress 200. Anyone know what the problem is because im gettin real real pissed off at this thing !! i just wanna play my damn games!!!!!!

Is the catalyst the same as the driver on the cd that comes with ur graphics card? i thought catalyst was just some add on thing or something to improve ur driver. i dont really know much about all the driver stuff. And thanks

Catalyst is what ATI call the drivers (the software that makes the hardware work) for their video cards. (Nvidia call their drivers 'Forceware').

ok, i installed the thing bootup05 told me to and it worked fine, but i also downloaded this catalyst update thing from https://support.ati.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=894&task=knowledge&folderID=27
its for windows media center edition 2005, and when i try to download it, it says cannot find video driver, im wondering if im supose to download that, or if its all ther already with the thing bootup05 told me to install, because i dont have a control panel or any of those things on my desktop or icons at the bottom.

ok, after using the ati radeon xpress 200 (256mb shared) and installing the diamond radeon 9200se with the one driver bootup told me to install, the 9200se runs shitty'r. I played cs: source on both of them and i can play alot smoother with all high settings with the xpress 200. I dont know if my cards still missing some driver or something.
