Got my PSU, Corsair HX520W

I just mounted it in my P180 and the fan has to go down, but I guess that keeps the warm air off my CPU and GPU. I was just wondering if the fan pointing towards the bottom of the case and having about an inch of breathing room, would it hurt? The PSU is readable from the decals on the back, I assume that means it's in Corsair's upright position.

Thanks

The fan at the bottom of a supply is generally the intake there with the rear fan/vent seeing heat exhausted out of the case. That will be of some interest on the new Antec Nine Hundred case here with the supply mounted at the bottom instead at the top. The board sees a 200mm top fan right above that.
