So i'm thinking of buying these games, mainly i want grid but dirt can come with it for like 2 pounds more, so i downloaded the demos just to check them out and see what quality i can play them on.
I can play Grid on ultra settings with 8AA and get average frame rates between 40-47 depending on the track, without oc
When i play dirt on max to get a steady frame rate of 27 on any track i have turn off reflections, mirrors and turn aa down to x2, this was using an oc as well.
Why is this, seems strange as both games look exactly the same, i've read that grid uses a slightly updated game engine but seems like a big difference to me.
Btw i know that demos are not representitive of the final product.
