Has the game been patched, updated video and sound drivers. Sounds like a memory issue, have you installed ram recently?

The game is auto patched on a regular basis, as its an online game....
I will update my sound and video drivers and will get back on whether this helps.

I haven't installed any new ram its the original 2 sticks that come with the machine, I have got a new 1gb stick on order so will also try that out when it arrives.

Could it be the onboard ram on the video card?

Thanks

Maybe, I used to get that error when I had an incompatible graphics driver with the game. One of the patches may have made this problem surface if you are using an older driver set...

Well I've updated the graphics driver, and the sound driver... that had no effect.

I replaced my ram (i had ordered some anyway regardless of this problem) so i now have a 1gb stick. And it still comes up with the same error message.

I disabled my sound card... this helped to stabalise it for a short while (ie it didnt come up with the error message straight away) before it then come up again.

Ive noticed that it seems to be running the game and topping out my CPU at 100% when the application runs... could this be a possible cause?

Also would anything in the bios settings be causing a issue....?

Ah i've just read up that my graphics card should have a 500w power supply to run efficently...

I only have a 400w one so will replace that as well and see what happens..

Might be the cause as my sound card is probably sucking up alot of power as well. Will update unless anyone else has any suggestions?

well.. since you have replaced the RAM.. you might want to reinstal the game now, and download the patch again. because if the game was patched while using corrupted RAM.. the gamefiles might be corrupted too tbh :o

Yeah, you're probably just not getting enough power, which can really damage the hardware... :o

well fingers crossed on that one luckily its rare i use high end software just generally a bit of msn and itunes.... mainly cause the games crash so theres not alot of point....
