has anyone played arma with the 6970?

Looked at three vids and all i see is people running what a load of rubbish.

Arma is a military simulator. Not some Call of Duty random spray and pray crap.

Ive played the Arma Demo,Not on a 6970 but on a GTX 460.

To be honest i think the game is a load of c**p,Just like russb said,Theres too much running about...not enough action and its boring,For me anyway...i would not recommend buying it,but as Intel man says its more of a military simulator and not so fast pased so thats why i didnt like it.

but too me its amazing. some times while playing project reality i wont shoot one guy in a 2 and a half hour match. but thats ok. i got to go to school ill write more when i come home.

ArmA is extremely good when you get a bunch of guys working together. Going solo often results in death 90% of the time.


teamwork is key in that game. Besides, you're not suppose to run in the game. That's why they have planes and choppers.

couldnt of said it better. plus calling in your friends that are flying jets to come and bomb the town your trying to take on foot is awesome.
