you need a nice long thin screwdriver. There should be a slot on one side to be able to place it into. You need to use a little force with it so dont be scared =). Push down and push towards the CPU to remove it.

Hello All,
I work for PowerLeap.com . You have a dimension 8200 its a Socket 478 system that uses Northwood core Pentium 4 processors. The only thing you have to determine is what Front Side Bus(FSB) P4 chip you can use. Because P4 chips come in 400, 533 and 800 FSB Speeds. Right off the bat 800 is out of the question. Because the 8200 only supported 400 and 533 FSB. But you need to know what Chipset Revision your Motherboard has. It will either be i850 or i850E only the E revision can support 533 FSB chips. Hence you can use the 3.06 w/ Hyper Threading (HT). Else you will only be able to use 400 FSB P4 chips. We have up to 2.8 GHz in 400 FSB. We Had 3.0 GHz 400 FSB but i think they are out of stock now. To check your chipset you can use out InSPECS utility at this address.

For Internet Explorer users. http://www.PowerLeap.com/InSPECS.html

For Netscape or Opera users.

For Processor selections from PowerLeap check this address. http://www.powerleap.com/Processors.html

Hope i could be of help.

Best Regards,
Brian
