Help choosing an aftermarket CPU fan?

Hi guys,

I'd like to pick up a CPU fan this black friday. Newegg has several on sale, but I don't really know whether or not they're compatible with my rig, whether or not they're overkill, etc. The only thing I'm trying to avoid is a really noisy fan.

Here are some Newegg has on sale

COOLER MASTER Hyper N 520 RR-920-N520-GP 92mm Sleeve CPU Cooler Intel Core i7 compatible - $30

XIGMATEK Gaia SD1283 120mm Long Life Bearing CPU Cooler bracket included LGA 2011 i7 i5 775 1155 AMD and dual fan push pull compatible - $25

Or, if you think there's something else out there better for my rig, please let me know! Thanks in advance

As a general rule, the larger the fan, the quieter-- it can move air at a lower rotational speed.

Also, I recommend a fan with dual ball bearings; otherwise you will be replacing the fan every year or so (depending on usage, of course).
