Hijackthis Log (Messed up PC)

Hello, my dad has a computer that is running really poorly and I have posted the hijackthis log below in hopes that someone can help me solve the wierd problems my dad's computer has.

Some of the stuff my dad's computer is doing involves:
-Windows Update, System Restore, Search, Help, and User Settings all show up as blank pages (I have tried following Microsofts online help to try and solve this but nothing has worked so far).

-I just recently installed Kaspersky security on his computer (To replace AVG and Commodo) and everytime the PC starts Kaspersky freezes and then the computer runs so slow I can't do anything with it. I can start the PC in safe mode though so I could always uninstall Kaspersky then get a hijackthis log.
-Computer takes about 2-3 minutes to shutdown
-Windows Media Player will no longer work and displays an error message about some jscript.dll thing.
-I tried to install Adobe photoshop on my dad's computer and it also displayed an error about jscript.dll

Please take a look at the log and let me know if there is any thing I can do. Thanks

First off: before you do anything I suggest, wait for someone else from this forum to verify what I have said. I am fairly sure that I'm right, but a second opinion can never hurt!

I'll leave the fixing of certain entries to the others (for example you have partypoker on that pc, which is malicious and AppToService_EXPL0RER by basta computing may also be), but I noticed that you are running three programs with realtime antispyware protection, which usually causes conflicts and slows the pc down heaps. The programs in question are spywaredoctor, spycatcher and avg antispyware. I'd stick with spywaredoctor and uninstall the other two (if it is the full paid version of spywaredoctor). Use ad-aware and spybot to check that Spywaredoctor hasn't missed anything (they don't provide realtime protection, you just run scans with them every now and then).

I'd wait for instructions from someone else on how to remove partypoker first though, and whether to remove the other entry by basta computing...

I actually never even use those programs.. I just installed them at one point in time to try them out then never used them.. I will uninstall the ones I don't use.
Since I got my new PC I never use the messed up one so my dad is the only one who uses it and he has no idea what he is doing when it comes to computers.. o over time it just got even more messed up and so on.. I am actually thinking about just reinstalling windows on his computer so no need to worry about the hijackthis log.

if you really want to reinstall windows anyway, then ok.. but I don't really think you need to, it doesn't look quite that bad! The thing is that once you reinstall windows you'll need to find and reinstall any drivers you don't have, and that can sometimes be a bit of a mission. Just wait for a second opinion first, one of the experts will help you soon!
