how can i shrink a window?

I just got a laptop with a small screen (it's a few years old) and the maximum resolution it supports is 1024x768. I want to have two windows open and see both (they're poker games from partypoker.com).

There's no way to directly shrink them, but is there an app out there that would let me either a) shrink a particular window or b) shrink everything on my screen (maybe by simulating a better resolution)?

In the right hand corner of ur window doesn't have a minus sign- a single or double window and a red X---THree buttons ???????
 
It has the minimize and close buttons but the button in the middle is grayed out. It not possible to manually resize the window. I was wondering if there were some software solution out there to get around this problem.
 
Not sure of one, but if it has the Windows key on the keyboard try holding WindowsKey+D, that will minimize all the windows.
