How to stop all my startup programs

I want to disable my start up programs when I'm not useing the net. I think that there is a button I can press, when windows is starting up, so that my start up programs like my firewall, anti-virus , stuff like that, will not load.

I've never tried this, but why not make a couple users. One is your "online" user, the other is the "offline" user... I'm pretty sure you could control the startup programs between the two

yea
start->run and type in "msconfig" to get into startup files..

wait- you want it to load sometimes, and other times not to?
i dont think thats possible with some anti-virus progs... but with others you can just put (a shortcut to) exe files into "D:\Documents and Settings\(account name)\startup folder and it'll start only when that user signs on...
