I got a boot sector virus

Please, help me, what should I do?
I booted with another drive and the disk with the virus won´t show (where it shows the har drives, cd drives, floopy drives, control panel...)
HELP!
PS: I have windows 98

Did you try cleaning it??? Short of that you're gonna have to toast the bootsector to get rid of it.

The hard drive is only shown when the pc is just on (before booting) where it shows the drives, processor, RAM.... and with Disk Manager. Right now I'm with another hard drive, but I booted up with this with the "virused" drive connected and it wouldn't show up (once the pc has booted)

Well... Actually I cannot, since I cannot boot from the drive with the virus and if I boot with another hard drive, the one with virus won't show up, so I guess I cannot clean it... Unless I had a bootable antivirus cd, wich I don't have...

You can just format the MBR. Get an old windows bootdisk to get to the command prompt and just fdisk /mbr

This will loose any dual-boot setups you have, if any.
