btw, im running in 1440x900 (yeah weird resolution, hanns lcd monitor). I have a question, whats the difference between the Shadows and the Shaders settings? and what is Postprocessing?
Thanks!
Shadows are shadows, the higher the setting the better quality the shadows. Shader level controls the amount of shader saturation throughout the level, higher level utitilize card specific components more, the shader pipes an clock. Post processing.. erm, I believe it does many things, It makes certain textures have a realistic gleam, it enables motion blur, and maybe some other things.
erm.. you could run DX10 with a DX9 card?![]()
Well it's not Dx10, but settings that many people thought could only be enabled with a dx10 card. The above link danny posted explains it, I didn't know about it either.
