IE 7 final version Released

The one thing that IE 7 now offers is the antiphising feature.

Firefox 2.0 has antiphising feature as well.

Try it out :)

I'll try it when I get home if no one does first, no IE7 here.

I tryed this test in firefox and it said to me that "your browser does not appear to vulnerable to this particular exploit", whereas in IE6 or IE7, it says that "your browser is vulnerable"

When I went to the ie7 download page on the ms website avast went mad asbout VBS:zulu worm. This happens every time I visit the ie7 homepage.
It doesn't say the worm is in the page itself, it says its in rad.msn.com/*randomnumbers* so im not sure...

i had avast and no problem. but ie warns to disable antispyware and antivirus when installing and enable after install.

is there a way to tab browse all favorites link with a single click like firefox? can't figure it out.

RC2 the beta version of FireFox froze instantly. So the chance of seeing how that antiphising feature will have to wait until the finished comes out. It was the same thing with the beta of IE 7. That was removed fast when it saw some problems running it there. But that's a problem with betas to begin with.

In IE you have the Favorites on the left in both versions where you can add or remove links at anytime there. You can even right click on each link and rename it if you want to. The links is still on the right side if you have a toolbar added. The menu bar is hidden by default where you can forward linls. You have to use the "tools" on the lower right to check the menu bar and then try settings there. IE 6 is easier in that regard.

How Do I see what version of FF is have?
also the test for me came up exactly the same!

you just need to click on help then on "About Mozilla firefox", and you will able to see the version that you have. Note: if you have firefox 2.0 RC1, RC2 or RC3, it doesn't say next to it RC, so you will not able to see which of the RC version you have.

And for the test I tryed in both firefox 1.5.0.7, and firfox 2.0 RC3, and it says that the browser is not vulnerable.

I have used beta2, RC1, RC2 and RC3, and I didn't have any problem.

Maybe you have a problem from your computer, not from firefox.

I have 1.5.0.7

Is it okay or should I upgrade to the 2.0?

What are the cons and pro's between the two?

EDIT: firefox test came up not vulnerable, but IE did..

I was far from the only having problems with 2.0 seeing freezeups. I currently staying with FireFox 1.5 until the finished version comes out. I never run any beta version of anything as the primary OS, browser, utility. The finished version will usually see most of the bugs worked out.

So far Im not having any problems with Firefox 2.0 on my machine. Im waiting to download the final version though.

If you got it after the initial release of the beta they may have added a fix or you just had a better day seeing go on. :P I'm also waiting for the final version there too. So far IE 7 has been going on every system around here with none of the crap seen with the beta. That's makes life a little easier. :D

this bug kept happening. browing with ie7 then tries to right click its taskbar tab trying to close the window it will not select and seems to make ie stop responsible i am able to keep recreating this problem lol.

IE 7 has a slightly different arrangement of things like the menu bar being hidden. But so far it's been running spotless here. As far as closing IE 7 you go upto the small "X" seen in the upper right hand corner of the screen and close it that way. With the "Tools" link on the far right you check off the various items like the menu bar you want to see onscreen.
