If we are talking about using a secondary partition per se on the same computer. Then a KVM/QEMU setup with vga passthrough to Windows would be the best option. Otherwise if this is a secondary PC. Using ssh (openssh) with graphics is possible, but vnc-tiger would be a the best option. Without a virtual machine with passthrough you will have very basic graphics drivers loaded. SSH'ing with the ip :: port with graphics remote access is even more limited and things like VNC is also around the level of virtual machine without passthrough. Basically, don't expect to do heavy lifting like gaming without a VM passthrough, is all I'm getting at.

What are you trying to accomplish with the setup? Basic file transfer, gaming, odd jobs, or what?
