Is this a problem?

Just set up my new system, and have been running oblivion full blast on it. once in a while i get a tiny jump of movment on my screen, like ill be turning and the screen stalls for less than a second then moves again. The computer is in my signature, and i dont think it should have any problem running this. Is this just a part of the game, that all users see? or is there some reason why i am hitting some rough spots with it? Any input is aprreciated. thanks.
 
It's pretty rare you get 100% perfect gaming out of a PC. My PC tends to lag once or twice when you first start a game, but then it's fine.
 
the gtx is waiting for the cpu to do work = bottleneck

overclock it and you wont have it at least thats what happened to me.
 
SLied 8800GTX's are even slowed down by a quad core Kentsfield processor :).

If you want to overclock, overclock until you get the performance you want. I'd say 3Ghz would be a good starting point, and then you can go from there.
 
Lucky bastard, lol I wish i had could have problems with high end hardware.. oh well wish in one hand and do something in the other, squeeze them and see which one comes true.
