Jumper?

Hey guys, computer noob here. I just connected an analog audio cord from my CD drive to my sound card, then I touched a blue cube looking object. When I turned on my computer, a Bios Setup Utility menu came up, I just exited it but then immediately, it says :Turn off power and reinstall the jumper in Normal mode position. This makes me insanely frustrated seeing how I turned nothing into something yesterday, then today, a mistake led to the destruction of my computer. My mother board is a Pentium 4, bought LONG AGO. 2.8ghz and around 4 fans what can I do to remedy my problem?

Haha, wouldn't you think I tried?! But the problem is...I'M A TOTAL NOOB AT MOBO. So if possible, a walkthrough is requested.

Scenario: I turn on the computer, everything starts, fans run, and lights go on. Then 5 seconds into the process, it beeps and goes to a Bios Set up Utility Menu.
