Just got a used laptop, what should i do?

My dad just got a used laptop that was given to him. It's a Compaq Armada 1550DMT. It's pretty slow and i don't like it. Here is all the system information that I can dig out:

so there is nothing to do to the laptop that you would recommend? I think that you guys are just skipping this thread... :(

It should run OK with Windows 95, or Linux + light window manager. Should be fine for general applications (word processing, internet, etc).

Some more RAM may speed things up a little, but you're not going to get much improvement out of it.
