Just loaded windows xp over 2000!b

hey all,

I have just loaded windows xp home over windows 2000 but now when i boot up my computer i have a choice of running xp or 2000? I would really like to know how to get rid of 2000 so I just boot up with xp thats in advance!

thanks for the respones sorry i didnt word it well, well all i want to do is have xp and no windows 2000 but its still there and i have a dual operating system but i wanted a blank canvass with xp is there a way? thanks in advance!

then u have to format the windows 2000 that might be installed on another parition.
try to format ur windows 2000 first, and then install the win Xp.
