What type of laptop bag do you have? EG racksack, satchel, carry case etc..

What do you think of it? is it big enough & practical? Do you find its heavy with your laptop in it?

What els do you keep in your laptop bag?

Where do you take your laptop bag and laptop? Do you carry it around with you everywhere you go or only if you know you are going to need it?

Whislt im here, where is the best place in the uk (online or off) to get a satchel laptop bag from for a reasonable price?

I have an Icon laptop bag. Some cheapish one from Walmart.

It's a good bit larger than I need, being able to hold a 17" laptop when I use a 12". My laptop weighs about 5lbs, so no, I don't find it heavy :p

Power supply, paper, pencils... Maybe other things depending where I'm going.

Typically I only use it when going out with friends.

Living in the states, I couldn't say where you should go...

Honestly, I rarely use my bag besides when going with friends. At school I typically either have my laptop in hand or just toss it in my bookbag. Yes yes, I too thought I'd NEVER do that :p

i have a targus backpack with the padded laptop compartment

    i loooove it

i bought it 4-5 years ago, before i even owned my current laptop, and it has survived two laptops, and a ~2 year period when i didnt' own one.

very comfortable, and very well made.

i have a fully aluminum laptop briefcase.

it looks way cool...like one of those briefcases they use in the movies to carry diamonds, bombs, top secret documents, ect. its a little cramped with my 17" computer, and its hella heavy when fully loaded.

i keep some data DVDs and couple blank DVDs...thats about all that can fit.

i only use it when im hauling it over to a friends house or on a trip or something. i also have a 'skin tight' neoprene case which i use when i put my computer in my backpack.

heres a pic of my computer sitting on top of it.

Hard briefcases are too "lunchbox" for my taste.

lol whatever... mine looks hardcore...like one of those cases from the movies that holds diamonds, bombs, top secret documents for the president, ect. (im repeating myself from an earlier post). i got it for my graduation along with a pair of handcuffs to complete the authentic movie look. you should see the looks i get when i go into Barnes & Noble

I use a Targus, it's great, has room for 3 laptops, but technicly 2, an extra storage place for random parts, a front compartment, and a mini compartment on that, has velcro straps on the inside and seperator between the two laptop spaces. bag isn't bulky and has a shoulder strap
