Laptop CPU - AMD Turion X2 TL50

I have been after a new laptop for work for a while. Someone is leaving the company and I am getting their 3-month old laptop.

It is a Dell Latitude 131L with a AMD Turion 64 X2 TL50 (1.6 gHz).

Is this CPU any good? Will it show a significant improvement over my current P4 2.2 gHz?

I am going to ask about the Laptop in general in the Laptop forum, but figured I'd ask about the CPU here.

It's a pretty good CPU, yes. You should notice a performance increase while doing certain CPU-intensive tasks, especially since the laptop cpu is dual core.
