Hi so im looking to purchase a laptop/ultrabook. i was hoping to spend around 600-800 but i mean cheaper the better since i already have a desktop that is pretty solid. I'm really just looking for something thats pretty mobile. i was looking at getting a acer s3 off of 1saleaday for 550 today. Or picking up this with the 2 year warranty from newegg http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834230202&Tpk=ASUS U46 Series U46E-BAL5. What would you guys recommend for the price. Im also tempted to wait since vizio is coming out with their line of ultrabooks and they're supposed to be cheap and drive down the competitors prices. Let me know what you think! :D

So far the only requirement you gave was mobility. What do you plan to use the laptop for? If you only need it for email and surfing that's one thing but if you want to use it as a mobile gaming platform that's another.

i am going to use the laptop mostly just for light stuff. nothing to intensive. Decided to order an acer s3.. thread can be closed

if what you need is mobility , i would recommend ASUS eeepc 901 ,
it is just one kilo and works at 1.68ghz (intel atom n270) also 20gb ssd

eeepc 901 specs:
20gb ssd in two ssd , one 4gb and one 16gb
intel atom n270(1.68ghz)
touchpad + keyboard
eeepc 901 is near enough for everyday uses

What kind of security are you going to need? Will this be primarily something to play on or will it be a "mobile office" of sorts? Intended use is the biggest factor for me when I'm picking out hardware.
