i have a fairly new asus laptop. i really love it. every day these "asus live update" things pop up. at first there were a few different ones. for the past month or so the same "azurewave camera driver" update comes up over and over. does anyone know what this is, if its important, or if something is wrong? also, how do you know when an update is real or are there ever updates that are really viruses posing as updates?

It's not any virus attack, just ASUS's poor up dating software, one of my systems it just quit responding. The other I would get the same ones over and over.
you can always go to their web site and check if you think you need updating.
IMHO if your system is working leave it be.
