Lost BF2 CD Key

hey, i have lost my BF2 CD key. is there anyway of getting a new (Legal!) one? without having to buy the game again =/
i have just moved house so everything is currently a mess so i cant even look for my BF2 book with the code on it :(
 
Try contacting EA about it...see what they have to say.

I doubt they will give you a key though:( ...im not sure.
 
how do i contact them? i cant find any number with a helpline etc on :(
it'll probably be in the book with the CD Key :(

EDIT: the only place i can find anything about a replacement CD key is for the US and you have to pay $10 anyway, i think i might end up buying a pre-owned copy.

hmm your right there doesnt seem to be a uk number:o


Pm Kornowski...he has Battlefield 2 ....im sure he will be kind enough to have a look on that book which his Cd key came on if theres a Uk number to phone EA in the uk:confused:

yeah before I saw that post I was going to say for you to wander around your registry for a little bit. That's how I was able to find my cd key for 0ffice 03. Now I just write to cd keys on the cds with a sharpie.

well i told them i lost my CD-Key etc...

then they asked for the account details i registered the game with

(as it was ages ago i did or, or didnt do it)i gave them the account details i though i did it with

they told me they didnt have any record of the account being registered to the game, but they said they could register it for me.

i told them that would be cool.

they did it and sent me a new CD-Key :D

Well that's pretty nice of them to just give you a brand new CD key! That's like giving you £20 to buy the game...

yeah that was good of them....usualy they just say you will have to buy another copy:mad:
 
yeah, its pretty cool, i cant believe they gave me a new key. i was expecting to have to pay something.
they must have some system of validating your game some how or something.

ah well, i was lucky :D
