Mass Effect 3 Ending Questions (Major Spoilers)

Hi,

to anyone that has completed the game... I finally finished it last night.... I did most of the side missions.. I missed a couple... I did not think the ending was that bad like most people but I was wondering.. is there any scenario that you do not die.... and ashley died as I walked toward the beam... I thought I would def get the best ending..

Any thoughts?

Well, if you choose the ending where you kill the reapers it does a brief cutscene where it shows the rubble on the planet with a person in N7 armor stirring, like you were knocked unconscious by something. Some people are speculating that the whole last part after you are heading towards the beam is an indoctrination sequence and that the 2 options where you save the Reapers are ways that the Reapers are subverting you into coming over to their side... I don't really know, but I do smell and expansion set of missions of some sort. Which ending did you choose?
 
I had the ending to die and take control of the reapers, my squadmates died... captain anderson is shot by the illusive man, and then I shot him

I heard they are having a free download in a couple of months to redo the end
 
Idk about the game and the endings but I know they are making an expansion for the ending that I believe is mostly cinematic and is supposed to just give more closure and info, not any missions or anything from the release I saw
